About Us
This is us in Annecy near the French Alps during one of our trips to France. Our love affair with all things French started over 10 years ago when we visited France as part of a whirlwind six week round the world tour. Since then, we have been back to France around a dozen times with our trips ranging in duration from one week to two months. After completing many successful property developments here, in 2006 we bought a house in a village in the south west of France which gives us a permanent link to the country we adore, even though we are 20,000 kms away in Brisbane, Australia. As the benefits of buying a place in France extend beyond owning a dream, we subsequently purchased another two properties. We set up this website to share our experiences of France, including buying French property, with others who also desire things French. All of the places to see, stay and eat and things to do we have had personal experience with and would recommend to others.
