In 2005, Jane Webster sold her house in Melbourne and moved to a run-down chateau in France with her husband and four young children. We follow her story as she restores the chateau to its former glory, meets local characters and discovers the produce of Normandy. Her beautiful hard-cover book is filled with exquisite photos and seasonal recipes which capture the simple treasures of life in regional France. Jane now spends her time between Melbourne and France and has fulfilled her lifelong dream of running a cookery school as part of culinary vacations at the chateau. |
