Mary Moody is a gardening writer and former presenter on ABC TV's 'Gardening Australia '. In the year of her fiftieth birthday, she ran away from home, family and work for six months to live in a remote French village. Her books about her experiences have struck a chord with tens of thousands of readers across Australia. Mary and her husband David were interviewed on ABC TV's 'Australian Story' where they gave a frank, honest and painful account of the romantic affair Mary had while in France and its consequences on her marriage and family. She now spends half of her time with her family near Bathurst in NSW and the other in her house in southern France. |
