Ferris wheel in Paris Twice a year, a ferris wheel La Grande Roue is set up at the enterance to the Jardin des Tuileries as part of a carnival held for a few weeks in summer and at Christmas time. The view from the top is almost as good if not better than that of the Eiffel Tower. The view of the ferris wheel itself is also good from the top of the Arc de Triomphe looking down the Champs Elysees especially at night when the ferris wheel is lit up. |
