Seine River cruises Many tour boat companies operate on the Seine River. These include Bateaux Mouches, Vedettes du Pont Neuf and Les Bateaux Parisiens. The tours leave regularly and run for around an hour with some including meals. All offer multi-language informative commentary about the Seine, monuments you can see from it including the Eiffel Tower and Musee de Orsay and Paris generally. The boats or batauex themselves are long, narrow and flat as they are designed to negotiate the ponts across the river. Most have an inside glassed in section downstairs with an open air area on the upper deck. The one hour cruises without meals cost around 10 euro.
