Swimming There are many pools to go swimming in around France, mostly indoor and heated. Most of the public pools charge around 4 euro per entry. A good olympic sized pool in central Paris is at the Forum Les Halles in the newer underground part of the shopping mall not too far from the metro station (visit www.forumdeshalles.com for more information). The cost is around 7 euro. If you want to get away from the crowds and go a little upmarket, you can always try and get into the Paris Ritz Club at Place Vendome if the hotel isn't full and go for a swim in their roman style baths pool as well as use the gym - it will only set you back about 100 euro! |
